Ag. Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Jerome is the Chief Executive Officer at Kinazi Cassava Plant (KCP) Ltd, on interim basis. Before that, he was serving KCP as Chief Finance Officer.
He is normally and permanently employed as Audit and Risk manager at AGACIRO Development Fund (KCP major shareholder) a position he holds since January 2019.
Prior to joining AGACIRO. Mr. Jerome worked for the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN-Rwanda) from June 2014 up to December 2017 as the Central Government Internal Auditor.
He joined MINECOFIN after leaving the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC-Rwanda) where he was employed from 2010 to 2014 as an Internal Auditor.
Mr. Jerome holds a master’s degree in Finance (Mercure University-Belgique), a bachelor’s degree in accounting option, from former School of Finance and Banking (SFB-Rwanda).
He is a professional accountant with an ACCA, UK (Association of Chartered Certified) and CPA-Rwanda (Certified Public Accountant).
He has attended many trainings of which include Leadership impact solution/bullet proof, with CRESTCOM; Company valuation and due diligence with Ernest and Young auditing firm; and Fraud Investigation with ICPAR-Rwanda.
He likes football, swimming and reading books. He is a self-motivated, hard-working and Charismatic professional.
Head of Finance and Administration
Mr. Samuel Nzirabatinya is experienced professional Accountant. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (iCPAR).
Samuel Nzirabatinya is currently Head of Finance and Administration at Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd. Prior to this job at KCP Ltd, He worked with East Africa Granite Industries as of Aug’19 and the Office of Auditor General of State Finances-Rwanda as of Aug’21. He has experience in accounting of manufacturing companies and in auditing of various public enterprises, ministries, government projects and districts. He is Certified CPA® exams setter and maker and Certified CPA® trainer, which he has been doing for the last 4 years.
In 2017, He obtained Bachelor Degree in Accounting (First Class Honor) from the University of Rwanda-College of Business and Economics (former SFB). In the same year, he also obtained a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda. He is now candidate for Masters in Business Administration.
Samuel enjoys jogging and soccer.
Ann Christin ISHIMWE
Head of Marketing and Sales
Miss Ann Christin Ishimwe is the Head of Marketing and Sales Department at Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd, with over ten years of experience in sales, customer care and marketing.
In addition to her BBA and MBA degrees in the field of marketing, Ann Christin is fuelled by her passion for understanding the nuances of cross – cultural marketing. She considers herself a ‘forever student’ eager to both build her academic foundations in psychology and sociology and stay in tune with the latest marketing strategies through continued course work and professional development.
Meanwhile, she vastly improved the productivity of her department by implementing strategic management approaches and ensuring a work-life balance for her department. Ann Christin believes mindfulness in the workplace is key to success – a tenet she lives out through her interests in religion, music and reading
Head of Production Department
Mr. Felix NIYIGENA is a motivated and competent engineer with a friendly personality and extensive experience in the field of Food processing and Technology.
Mr. Felix is currently the Head of Production Department at Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd.
He worked for the company since 2013 in various capacities such as electrical technician, assistant plant engineer and Production Manager.
In 2017, Mr. Felix left Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd and joined Africa Improved Foods where he spent 2 years working as an Electrical engineer. He later re-joined KCP Ltd as a Production Manager.
Mr. Felix is a graduate of Integrated Polytechnic Regional College (IPRC). He holds engineering certificates in: Boilers maintenance, Process automation, Process start-up and commissioning, Troubleshooting and faults elimination, Online device viewer, spare parts finder tool and Equipments online configuration.
Mr. Felix is currently a level 4 student in University of Technology and Art of Byumba (UTAB), Department of Renewable Energy.

Mr. Viateur Ngabonzima is a highly motivated and competent Food Scientist with a friendly personality and extensive experience in the field of Food Science and Technology. He has more than seven (7) years of working experience in food processing companies.
Mr. Viateur is currently the Quality Manager at Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd.
His responsibilities include but not limited to:
ensure consumers are provided with safe food, ensure that members of the workforce follow company procedures by monitoring the activities of the workers, design policies to make applicable laws regarding food inspection and safety, design and develop quality control standards that can be applied to the entire factory facility.
Mr. Viateur was instrumental in supporting Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd obtaining the food safety management system certificate based on HACCP system RS 184:2017 and Product certificate (S-Mark)
He was recognised by the Ministry of Environment for his participation role to advance green growth and climate resilience in Rwanda by applying resource efficiency and cleaner production technologies in 2019.
Mr. Viateur was a member of ISO/TC 283 for the establishment of the international standard on Occupational Health and Safety Management system ISO 45001:2018
Mr. Viateur holds an IRCA (International Register of Certificated Auditors) Certificate for successful completion of Food Safety management Systems Auditor/Lead Auditor Training course.
Mr. Viateur is an RSB/TC 003 Member (Rwanda Standard Board technical committee) for the review of standards in the area of Cereals, pulses, legumes and cereal products.
Mr. Viateur holds a bachelor’s degree of science in Food Science and Technology (with First class grade) from the former Kigali Institute of Science and Technology currently University of Rwanda College of Science and Technology.
He enjoys watching football matches and praying.
Yves Nicolas RUTAGUNGIRA, MBA
Supply Chain Manager
Mr. Yves Nicolas is a supply chain professional combining synchronizing Supply with demand and developing supply chain strategies that significantly impact on profitability and increase the total value of a business. He is experienced in working with farmers /Cooperatives.
Mr. Yves Nicolas is currently the Supply Chain Manager at Kinazi Cassava Plant Ltd; a position he occupies since 2015. His main responsibility is to ensure a regular supply of good quality and sufficient quantity of cassava roots from farmers/Cooperatives.
Prior to joining KCP Ltd, Mr. Yves Nicolas spent 3 years in MINIMEX (Minoterie Industrielle Import-Export) where he was in charge of maize supply and quality control.
Mr. Yves Nicolas holds a Master of Business Administration/Project Management from University of Kigali (UoK) and a bachelor’s degree (A0) in Economic Sciences/Rural Development from Independent Institute of Lay Adventist of Kigali (INILAK).
Mr. Yves Nicolas enjoys playing various sports: Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Karate, etc
Mr. Anaclet is Finance Manager at Kinazi Cassava plant Ltd on a permanent Basis since 2020
Prior to Joining Kinazi Casava plant Ltd, Mr. Anaclet worked at Africa Improved Food Rwanda
Ltd From 2017 to 2019
Mr. Anaclet is an experienced and professional accountant with strong knowledge of Financial
management and experience in private sector accounting mostly in the manufacturing industry,
Self-driven, strong analytical skills, communication, interpersonal skills all gained while
working in Finance departments in different organizations.
Mr. Anaclet is a quick learner and committed to persist until all tasks and responsibilities are
achieved, he has the required knowledge of IFRS and IAS.
Mr. Anaclet is MBA (Finance) student at Mount Kenya University Rwanda to graduate in 2021,
he is also a CPA-R Qualified Accountant with an Institute of Certified Public Accountant of
Rwanda (ICPAR), and a holder of Bachelors’ degree from College of Business and Economics
